Founded in 1984 by a small group of burgeoning businessmen with an ‘eye’ toward the betterment of our great city. Membership has grown steadily to our present ranks of over 100 men. The mission of the O.E. Ellis Society is simply the betterment of the Kansas City metropolitan area, in the areas of greatest need, consistent with the skills and passions of its membership. Membership is by invitation only. The O.E. Ellis Foundation, and the O.E. Ellis Society are Missouri, non-profit corporations with Federal Code 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) status.
